This is the second time we have purchased the toothtabs and we love them!
We did have some issues with the delivery and the Reco team helped us out very quickly, definitely recommended!
Takes a while to get used to but works really well
These toothpaste tablets are great. They’re nice and minty but not too strong. They clean really well and I like the fact that they have fluoride. They come minimally packaged, all of which can be composted/ recycled. I store mine in a little repurposed jar to keep them dry/ fresh. A really simple change towards a zero waste lifestyle.
First came across Reco toothetabs when searching for a more sustainable and plastic free toothpaste option. I have been using these since April and can say that I don’t regret the swap. Great product and customer care. Easy to adjust subscriptions, they taste great and leave my mouth feeling clean. Recommend to all looking to reduce their impact and choose a less wasteful alternative.
Admittedly felt a little sceptical at first of using a tablet instead of toothpaste...! Decided to give these a go in an effort to cut down on dreaded plastic and am now hooked. They’re so easy to use - none of this hassle with over or under toothpasting, they’re easy to transport when travelling and also leave a fresh, rather than artificial, taste in your mouth. Really recommend and also love the subscription service - one less thing to worry about running out of!
Bought for my daughter in law who was very pleased with it. Particularly liked how the pop up lid works
I ordered the toothpaste tabs and shaving kit (handle and razor blades). I particularly like the shaving kit and soap. I’ve been using them for a few weeks and love everything - will definitely order more in the future.
These are great. You have to get used to them a bit by experimenting what works best for you. I’ve ended up using two at a time and just add a bit of water with my toothbrush to bite down on them. Once softened you just do what you usually do! They’re going to be good for travelling too, once we can do that sort of thing again.
I think they are great. I did the trial before and this is my first proper order. I feel the trial ones were less "minty" and I liked them more, but I'm not sure how that can be as ingredients are the same. Other than that, they're great. I just prefer less minty flavour.
Love the concept of these tablets and the zero plastics. Do a decent clean - would prefer a stronger mint taste but that's just personal preference. Wasn't keen on the initial dry lumpy texture but you soon get used to it - bit like chewing an indigestion tablet - but with a bit of water on your toothbrush it quickly emulsifies. Would love to see a sensitive tooth option - that would be a good move!
Really good product and good to have no plastic. Well done and keep it up.
I’ve been using it for over a month now and love it. It’s very handy to travel as well.
Tooth paste tubes and plastic toothbrushes going to landfill have worried me for ages. Reco have the simplest of solutions in a chewable tab and a bamboo toothbrush that comes through the front door on a regular basis. It’s little changes that make the difference.
I have been trying to go plastic-free for a while, I tried a few toothpaste tablets, but they didn't contain Flouride. I am pleased I found this one, however it is difficult to get used to I think they should be a little bigger as I feel towards the end of brushing my teeth there is nothing left, I also think it should be minter. I'm very pleased to have found this product though and will be subscribing to them for now on, its very inexpensive and much better for the environment. One thing is I'm not sure if their packaging is recyclable, but not sure what they can do as a glass bottle would hike up the price, maybe give a choice to pay more?
I was incredibly sceptical about switching to tooth tabs as it was always the one zero-waste option I couldn't get on board with but I've been proved wrong by these! They contain fluoride which is a huge plus as many zero waste options do not and I'd worry about brushing without fluoride. They crush and dissolve really well so don't feel chalky or gritty at all. My only criticisms would be that they aren't quite minty enough (maybe double the mint) and I find I'm having to use two at a time to get enough to brush with.
